Jared Goff completed 22-of-32 passes for 303 yards and two touchdowns in the Lions’ 20-17, Week 7 win over the Packers. 2026-10-25 20:00:02 In a game that felt like it should have featured far more points, Goff and the Lions narrowly walked away with the win. He led an explosive opening drive that included a 28-yard pass to Amon-Ra St. Brown and a 24-yard pass to Jameson Williams, and ended with a 16-yard touchdown pass to Williams to put the Lions up 7-0 early. Goff would again connect with Williams for a 10-yard touchdown pass in the third quarter, and narrowly missed linking up with him for a third touchdown were it not for Williams being forced out of the end zone on a catch when the Lions went for it on fourth-and-five from the Packers’ six-yard line. Goff did lose a fumble in this one on a botched snap exchange with his center, but it was an overall strong outing for the Lions’ signal-caller. Goff has yet to throw an interception this season and has now thrown for over 300 yards in three of his six games this season. He’ll be a fringe QB1/QB2 next week at home against the 6-0 Vikings. |

Jared Goff completed 19-of-30 passes for 271 yards and three touchdowns in the Lions’ 45-21, Week 5 win over the Cardinals, adding one rush for a one-yard touchdown. 2026-10-11 21:00:01 Sacks and a few errant throws under pressure derailed the Lions’ first three drives. Goff got things back on track after that, guiding the offense to seven straight scoring drives, including six touchdowns. He even punched in a one-yard rushing touchdown via a quarterback sneak, marking his first rushing score since 2023. Goff could have boosted his passing yards total with a likely explosive gain by targeting an open Jameson Williams on the first drive after halftime, but he instead checked down to Sam LaPorta in the flats for an eight-yard pickup. The Lions are on bye in Week 6, but Goff will be a locked-in QB1 against the Packers in Week 7. |

Jared Goff completed 32-of-52 passes for 412 yards and one touchdown in the Lions’ 32-26, Week 4 loss to the Panthers. 2026-10-05 01:00:02 Goff has now thrown a touchdown pass in 27 straight contests, a streak that started in the team’s Thanksgiving day contest against the Bears in 2024. He could move into sixth on the all-time list for consecutive games with a touchdown pass should he throw for at least one touchdown in each game this season. He came within four minutes of breaking that streak against the Panthers, needing a late touchdown to tight end Sam LaPorta to keep it alive in a game the Panthers dictated with their defense throughout. Goff also maintained his clean sheet of no interceptions thrown to start the season but it wasn’t enough to overcome a defense that ceded 445 yards of total offense to a Panthers team without two of their top three wide receivers in Jalen Coker and Xavier Legette. The Lions fall to 2-2, now two games behind the division-leading Vikings through the first month of play. Goff remains a surefire QB1 ahead of a potential shootout against the Cardinals in Week 5. |

Jared Goff completed 25-of-32 passes for 269 yards and two touchdowns in the Lions’ 31-24, Week 3 win over the Jets. 2026-09-27 18:00:02 Goff and the Lions got off to a slow start with just three points over their first three drives. Things started to click before halftime and Goff rode that momentum to 21 points after the break. Excluding a few kneel-downs to end the game, Detroit scored on five of their final six drives. The Lions have scored exactly 31 points in all three of their games this year. That may be a bit higher than their projection for Week 4 against the Panthers, but not by all that much. Goff will remain in the QB1 mix versus Carolina next week. |

Jared Goff completed 26-of-38 passes for 327 yards and four touchdowns in the Lions’ 41-31, Week 2 loss to the Bills, adding seven yards on three carries. 2026-09-18 00:00:01 The Lions staked the Bills to a 21-point lead early in the second quarter, eventually taking a 27-10 deficit into the break. The closest they would get the rest of the game was a 10-point deficit, but the offense finally came alive in the final two frames. Goff tossed a pair of touchdowns to alpha wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown and one each to Sam LaPorta and Jahmyr Gibbs, salvaging the poor team performance with an elite fantasy score for managers brave enough to start him on the road in the elements. The Lions fall to 1-1 ahead of a much more forgiving home matchup against the Jets in Week 3, where Goff will look to return another QB1 performance. |
