Darren Waller scored a 50-yard touchdown in the Panthers’ Week 7 loss to the Bucs. 2026-10-25 18:00:02 Waller’s second quarter touchdown came after he beat a linebacker on a post route. It was also one of just two targets in a game the Panthers went on to lose 43-13. Waller’s score was the only black and teal tally before garbage time. Nice, though Waller had previously not found the end zone since Week 2. He has 14 total catches through six games. The limited overall workload has made Waller difficult to trust as a TE2 because of his zero-point floor. He will have some big-play potential Thursday against teh Packers. |

Darren Waller (toe) is not on Carolina’s final Week 6 injury report. 2026-10-16 14:00:03 He upgraded to a full practice today. Waller will be a low-end TE2 with Jalen Coker (quad) playing in Week 6 against a Jalen Hurts-less Eagles outfit. |

Darren Waller (toe) was limited in Thursday’s practice. 2026-10-15 16:00:02 He appears to be trending towards playing, though Waller is old enough that we probably shouldn’t count it as a sure thing that he’ll get off the questionable line. Waller would be a reasonable TE2 if he plays against the Eagles on Sunday. |

Darren Waller (toe) was limited on Wednesday. 2026-10-14 17:00:03 The Panthers should have their veteran receiving tight end on the field when they take on the Eagles this week. Waller remains a viable TE1, albeit as a somewhat volatile producer. We expect him to be practicing in full by the end of the week, coming off a restful bye. |

Darren Waller caught 3-of-6 targets for 36 yards in the Panthers’ Week 4 win over the Lions. 2026-10-05 02:00:02 Waller saw minimal involvement as quarterback Bryce Young leaned into his top option through the air, feeding Tetairoa McMillan 16 targets on 41 pass attempts in the absence of both Jalen Coker and Xavier Legette. Fantasy managers that scooped Waller off of waivers following his two-touchdown game in Week 2 are surely left disappointed in the recent returns, making Waller a potential drop candidate as the Panthers head to their bye. |
