Cade Otton was held without a catch in the Bucs’ Week 7 win over the Panthers. 2026-10-25 19:00:01 What seemed like it could maybe be a pop-up performance for Otton in Emeka Egbuka’s (concussion, foot) absence instead turned into a one-target day as the Bucs rode their rushing attack and Panthers turnovers to a dominant road W. Otton typically comes with a 3-4 catch floor, but the same has been true of his “ceiling” this season. He will continue to struggle to get into the mix ahead of Week 8 against the Falcons. |

Cade Otton caught 1-of-2 targets for four yards in the Bucs’ Week 6 loss to the Steelers. 2026-10-18 20:00:02 Otton had caught between three and five passes in every game this year until today, so this goes down as his first true bust of the season. On the other hand, he has peaked at five catches and 56 yards with zero touchdowns thus far, so the ceiling has been nonexistent. Otton could increase his production once Baker Mayfield is back in the lineup, but it doesn’t look like that will happen next week. He is barely in the TE2 conversation as long as Jalon Daniels remains under center. |

Cade Otton caught 4-of-6 targets for 37 yards in the Bucs’ Week 4 loss to the Packers. 2026-10-04 18:00:02 Otton’s 37 yards were somehow enough to lead Tampa Bay, though that largely speaks to the ineffective nature of the team’s passing attack. With Jalon Daniels under center, there simply wasn’t much production to go around. He was intercepted twice and threw for just 148 yards. With Daniels likely to make his second start of the year on Week 5, Otton is a low-end TE2 for his upcoming matchup with Dallas. |

Cade Otton caught 3-of-6 targets for 56 yards in the Bucs’ Week 3 loss to the Vikings. 2026-09-27 22:00:02 As usual, Otton led the Bucs in pass routes and was second on the team in targets behind Emeka Egbuka. Most of Otton’s production came on a 37-yard catch in the first half. Baker Mayfield narrowly missed the tight end for another long gain later in the contest. Otton’s route involvement should keep him in deep league lineups next week against the Packers, unless Mayfield (hand) is sidelined. |

Cade Otton caught 5-of-6 targets for 38 yards in the Bucs’ Week 2 loss to the Browns. 2026-09-20 20:00:02 Otton led the Bucs in targets while running nearly every route. This has been Otton’s role for quite some time. You know what you’re getting if you use Otton in fantasy lineups: He’s something of a PPR cheat code who thrives in negative game script. He’ll be a deep league option in Week 3 against the Vikings. |
