News for Wilson, Emanuel
Emanuel Wilson rushed 24 times for 100 yards and a touchdown in the Seahawks’ Week 7 win over the Chiefs, adding 15 yards on one reception.

Wilson handily outperformed former Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker in the latter’s return to Seattle, spiking his fantasy production with a 21-yard touchdown scamper late in the fourth quarter with the Seahawks in ice mode. The outburst went down as the second time in Wilson’s career in which he hit the century mark in rushing, pleasing fantasy managers that were forced into his services in Week 7 through both byes and injuries. Wilson’s days as the lead back in Seattle are likely numbered with veteran Zach Charbonnet reportedly nearing a return from his 2025 torn ACL. That could occur as early as Week 8 when the Seahawks face the Bears.

Wilson is now down to just 3.4 yards per carry while filling in for numerous key injuries in the Seattle backfield, with the team clearly waiting with bated breath for the return of Zach Charbonnet. Charbonnet continues to inch closer to a return from injured reserve and appears likely to bring an end to the Wilson experiment, relegating the latter to bench fodder in fantasy circles in the process. That could come a early a Week 7 when the Seahawks host the Chiefs.

Emanuel Wilson rushed 20 times for 61 yards and a touchdown in the Seahawks’ Week 5 loss to the 49ers, adding two receptions for 11 additional yards.

Wilson again led the Seahawks in rushing sans Jadarian Price. He handled all but four of the team’s running back carries in this one and found the end zone on a two-yard plunge in the first quarter to tie the game at 7-7. Wilson coughed up a key fumble in the second quarter that gave the Niners the ball on Seattle’s 11-yard line. On the following play, the Seahawks would allow an 11-yard touchdown run to Christian McCaffrey to put the Niners back out in front. Assuming Zach Charbonnet (Achilles) is at least one more game away from returning, Wilson will be on the RB2 radar in Week 6 when the Seahawks take on the Broncos on Thursday night.

Emanuel Wilson rushed 21 times for 81 yards and a touchdown while adding three catches for 39 yards and a score in the Seahawks’ Week 4 win over the Chargers.

Wilson picked up his first score on a screen pass from San Darnold. His second touchdown came on an untouched stroll from eight yards out. Wilson doesn’t have anything close to elite burst, but he’s tough to bring down and has good-enough vision to take advantage of the holes he receives. He was clearly the bellcow as George Holani received just seven carries for 18 yards and only one catch in the contest. He’ll be a RB2 for Week 5 against the Broncos and as long as Zack Charbonnet/Jadarian Price remain out.
