Texans placed Jawhar Jordan on injured reserve. 2026-10-21 14:00:02 Jordan was elevated from the practice squad over the weekend and backed up Woody Marks on Sunday. He ran six times for 43 yards and a score. His 25-yard touchdown run was the Texans’ longest rush attempt of the season. The team hasn’t disclosed Jordan’s injury yet, but he will miss at least four games while on IR. Dare Ogunbowale will serve as Houston’s RB2 until David Montgomery is healthy. |

Jawhar Jordan rushed six times for 43 yards and a touchdown in Houston’s Week 6 win over the Jaguars, adding a seven-yard reception on his only target. 2026-10-18 14:00:03 Jordan had a huge cutback lane in the third quarter and took it 25 yards while breaking a Jarrian Jones tackle for his touchdown. He played just 14-of-63 snaps, but clearly brought more juice than Woody Marks in the run game and it wouldn’t be a total surprise if that total grew next week with David Montgomery (groin) expected to remain sidelined. Jordan is likely just a FLEX play against the Giants in Week 7. |

Texans coach DeMeco Ryans said Jawhar Jordan will be elevated off the practice squad to play against the Jaguars on Sunday. 2026-10-16 15:00:01 Though he’s nominally the third back with David Montgomery out, the Texans tipped how they felt about Dare Ogunbowale as a running back by not using him a single time after Montgomery was ruled out against the Titans in Week 5. It seems likely that Jordan will be the main Woody Marks change-up in London, though given how poorly the Texans have ran the ball this year that probably doesn’t equate to much fantasy equity. |
