ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that Elijah Arroyo will undergo shoulder surgery and miss the rest of the 2026 season. 2026-10-22 15:00:02 Arroyo will have multiple injured reserve stints on his NFL record by the time his third season begins next year. Arroyo has caught 16-of-26 targets for 196 yards and one touchdown in regular season play thus far in his career. The talented receiving tight end fell in the 2025 NFL Draft due to knee-related health concerns. Hopefully, a strong offseason propels him to career-best figures in 2027. |

ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reports Elijah Arroyo (shoulder) is expected to miss time and it “could be an extended absence.” 2026-10-19 14:00:02 Arroyo’s career hasn’t really got off the ground with AJ Barner as the obvious No. 1 in the Seahawks tight end room. The 50th overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft has just two targets this year and hasn’t been a fantasy factor yet. |

Elijah Arroyo (shoulder) underwent further testing on Friday. 2026-10-16 17:00:02 No update yet on what was learned, and we may have to wait until next week’s first injury report to learn more. The Seahawks’ young tight end has faced multiple injuries in his short career. Hopefully, this one is not serious. |

Elijah Arroyo (arm) was taken to the locker room in the second quarter of week 6 against the Broncos. 2026-10-15 22:00:03 Arroyo was injured while trying to recover a Rashid Shaheed fumble in the second quarter and was promptly escorted to the locker room with trainers helping to stabilize his arm. It appeared to be a potential wrist or shoulder injury based on how the staff helped him off the field. The second-year tight end was not targeted prior to departing and appears to be on the wrong side of questionable to return to Week 6. |

Seahawks TE Elijah Arroyo caught 2-of-3 targets for 50 yards and one touchdown in Sunday’s preseason game against the Titans. 2026-08-23 22:00:02 Arroyo played three drives this evening, scoring from 36 yards out on the first one. Arroyo lined up in line on the left side, ran a route up the seam, shaking a safety along the way and easily hauled in the uncontested pass from tonight’s starting QB Drew Lock. Scoring against the Titans’ first-string defense is a plus, but playing while the rest of the Seahawks starters sat was not a great sign. Arroyo seems to be firmly behind TE AJ Barner on the depth chart right now. |
