|
Woody Marks rushed 15 times for 56 yards in Houston’s Week 6 win over the Jaguars, adding two catches for 25 yards on three targets. 2026-10-18 14:00:03 Marks was mostly bottled up, though he did manage 9/41 in the second half behind a few reasonably big runs to become the first back all year to hit 40 rushing yards against the Jaguars. He played 49-of-63 snaps. The Texans run game is still bad, but against the Giants in Week 7 Marks should probably be on the RB2 line. |

Woody Marks rushed six times for 22 yards and a touchdown in Houston’s Week 4 loss to the Cowboys. 2026-10-04 17:00:03 His touchdown came on a two-minute play where the Cowboys line wasn’t even set, aka the only way any Texans runner can advance the football. Still, he’s faster than David Montgomery and that’s really all the Texans have in their backfield. He’s a FLEX option against the Titans in Week 5. |

Woody Marks rushed five times for 15 yards and a touchdown in Week 3’s loss to the Colts, adding one catch for six yards. 2026-09-27 17:00:03 Marks managed just 20 snaps to David Montgomery’s 32 in a game where there was only one hurry-up drive that got off the ground for the Texans, but at least he cashed in with a one-yard touchdown plunge. He remains a volatile FLEX next week against the Cowboys. |

Texans RB Woody Marks rushed four times for 37 yards and one touchdown in Thursday’s preseason game against the Raiders, adding one reception for six yards. 2026-08-20 22:00:02 The Texans gave RB David Montgomery the night off, so Marks got the start alongside QB C.J. Stroud. The second-year running back played 10-of-10 first-team snaps before retiring for the evening. Marks looked good tonight, particularly on his 20-yard touchdown run, which required him to weave through traffic and bounce off would-be tacklers twice. The fact that Marks played while Montgomery rested could suggest Montgomery is the clear-cut starter rather than a 1A to Marks’ 1B. The young running back is still worth drafting as a bench stash, with potential standalone FLEX viability |
