Saints designated Jordyn Tyson (hamstring) to return from injured reserve. 2026-11-04 15:00:02 Tyson aggravated his nagging hamstring late in the offseason and was placed on injured reserve ahead of Week 1. He will practice for the first time today. NewOrleans.Football’s Nick Underhill said it’s possible Tyson plays this week, though he immediately mentioned a potential snap count for the rookie. The Saints likely want to ramp Tyson up slowly to avoid another setback, so we wouldn’t be surprised if he gets in some limited practices this week but is held out of Sunday’s game. Tyson should be stashed in every fantasy format, but managers can’t count on him as even a FLEX play for at least one more week. |

Saints head coach Kellen Moore said the team is still deciding when it will open Jordyn Tyson’s (hamstring) 21-day return window. 2026-11-02 13:00:02 When Tyson landed on injured reserve, the initial belief was that he would return sometime after the Saints’ bye week. Whether that is in Week 9 or the coming weeks is still to be determined, but we wouldn’t expect him to take the field the same week the team opens his return window. That said, opening that window for a return is the first step in getting Tyson back on the field. If he takes the field Wednesday, Tyson would then have 21 days to practice before the team would need to officially activate him from injured reserve. We could still be a few weeks away from seeing the the rookie first-rounder in action, but hopefully we get an encouraging update on his progression this week. |

Saints general manager Mickey Loomis said Jordyn Tyson (hamstring) won’t practice this week. 2026-10-21 10:00:02 Loomis said Tyson is “improving” in his long rehab from a major preseason hamstring injury. Tyson, who traveled with the Saints to France for their Week 7 game against the Steelers, could still be a couple weeks away as the team takes a cautious approach to his recovery. In the meantime, Bryce Lance will operate as the Saints’ No. 2 wideout behind Chris Olave. Lance over the past two weeks has a 13 percent target share and a 20 percent air yards share in the pass-first New Orleans offense. |

Saints head coach Kellen Moore said Jordyn Tyson (hamstring) traveled with the team to Paris for Week 7’s game against the Steelers. 2026-10-19 09:00:02 The Saints have not opened Tyson’s 21-day window for return, but the fact that he traveled with the team suggests his window could be opened later this week, which would allow him to begin practicing with the team. There’s some belief that Tyson could return in Week 9 after the Saints’ bye week, but the team hasn’t committed to a return date for him just yet. We wouldn’t expect Tyson to suit up this week against the Steelers. |

When asked if Jordyn Tyson (hamstring) could resume practicing for Week 6 against the Giants, Saints coach Kellen Moore said, “not right now.” 2026-10-14 17:00:02 Tyson was officially a non-participant to begin the week, as expected. Moore adds that Tyson is “progressing well,” and New Orleans Football’s Mike Triplett said there is “an expectation that he’ll return to practice soon.” Tyson should be rostered in 12-team formats, but fantasy managers must, unfortunately, remain patient. |
