Makai Lemon caught 6-of-9 targets for 57 yards in the Eagles’ Week 8 loss to the Commanders. 2026-11-02 00:00:02 Lemon led the team in receiving for the second consecutive game without both DeVonta Smith and Dontayvion Wicks, although the returns were nothing to write home about in Week 8. Largely confined to a short area role, Lemon’s nine targets were mostly the product of the offense’s inability to attack downfield and carry weak per-target upside, a trend likely to continue for as long as Tanner McKee remains under center. That leaves fantasy managers in a precarious position heading into a Week 9 showdown against the Giants, where better options likely exist. |

Makai Lemon caught 7-of-8 targets for 67 yards and a touchdown in the Eagles’ Week 7 loss to the Cowboys. 2026-10-27 01:00:02 Lemon showed out with the best game of his career in the absence of both DeVonta Smith and Dontayvion Wicks, operating as the top option through the air throughout the game against the Cowboys. He started his night off with a 21-yard reception on the team’s first possession before adding a fourth quarter touchdown on a quick slant from four yards out. The uncertainty surrounding Smith’s injury could leave Lemon as the de facto lead receiver for a Week 8 divisional tilt against the Commanders, where his fantasy value will be strictly tied to the availability of the other receivers on the roster. |

Makai Lemon caught 5-of-7 targets for 43 yards in the Eagles’ Week 5 loss to the Jaguars. 2026-10-11 15:00:02 The good news is that Lemon set new season highs in targets, catches, and yards. The bad news: All of that resulted in a measly 9.3 PPR points. Lemon will hopefully continue to earn more opportunities as the season progresses, but DeVonta Smith’s return could just as easily stall the rookie’s progress. Lemon will be a WR4/5 if Smith remains out for Week 6 against the Panthers. |

Makai Lemon caught 3-of-6 targets for 27 yards in the Eagles’ Week 4 loss to the Rams. 2026-10-04 19:00:02 Lemon moved up a spot in the targets pecking order with DeVonta Smith sidelined, but it resulted in the same quiet box score he posted the first three weeks of his career. The No. 20 overall pick is now sitting on 10 receptions for a scoreless 65 yards through his first four NFL appearances. There has yet to be any light at the tunnel with regards to either his usage or the Eagles’ overall offensive environment. Even with byes beginning and injuries mounting, Lemon is not a recommended WR4 heading into Week 5 against the Jaguars. |

Makai Lemon caught 3-of-4 targets for 29 yards in the Eagles’ Week 3 loss to the Bears. 2026-09-29 00:00:02 Lemon was the target on the team’s first play from scrimmage, gaining a first down on a first down play for the Eagles for the first time all season. The offense would sputter throughout the game on their way to only 47 offensive plays run from scrimmage, capping the fantasy upside of all involved in the process. Lemon has yet to live up to his lofty draft capital through the first three games of his professional career, but he could be called on for heavier work with tight end Dallas Goedert nursing an MCL sprain. Things don’t get any easier with a matchup against the Rams on deck for Week 4, where Lemon can safely be left on fantasy benches. |
