Fantasy Football Players News

Ed Oliver is questionable to play in Week 6 against the Raiders.

Bills slot CB Dee Alford (ankle) is also questionable. Coach Joe Brady said a week ago that both players avoided long-term injuries. They might actually have a chance to play this week. Stay tuned.

Savion Williams (ankle/PUP) is questionable for Green Bay’s Week 6 game against the Packers.
WR Savion, Williams GBP
Oct 16, 2026 17:00

Williams was limited in practice all week, making it seem like he could wait another week on the PUP list. When he does come back, the WR3 role would seem to be wide open for him after Jayden Reed’s injury. He remains a decent fantasy football stash if you have extra injured reserve spots.

Eagles ruled out RB Saquon Barkley (hamstring) for Week 6 against the Panthers.
RB Saquon, Barkley PHI
Oct 16, 2026 17:00

It was pretty clear that this was where things were headed when Barkley was unable to practice on Wednesday and Thursday. We do not yet know Barkley’s official Friday practice participation level, but he was not seen practicing during the portion of practice open to the media. Dameon Pierce, Carson Steele and practice squad player Jaydon Blue will likely split touches this week.

Skyy Moore (ankle) will not play in Green Bay’s Week 6 game against the Cowboys.
WR Skyy, Moore GBP
Oct 16, 2026 17:00

We’re Skyying less and less. Assuming Savion Williams (ankle) isn’t activated off injured reserve, J. Michael Sturdivant could become a deep-league stab or DFS punt against the Cowboys.

DeVonta Smith (hamstring/toe) is not on the final injury report for Week 6 against the Panthers.

WR DeVonta, Smith PHI
Oct 16, 2026 17:00

Smith sat out on Wednesday, but practiced in a limited capacity on Thursday before upgrading to full on Friday. Smith told media members earlier today that he is “good,” and that the toe injury is not an issue. Jalen Hurts (blood clot) is out indefinitely, so Smith will be working with pocket-passing backup Tanner McKee. The Panthers are currently without both of their starting perimeter cornerbacks. It might be a bit uncomfortable, but Smith is a WR2 in Week 6.

Keisean Nixon (groin) is not on Green Bay’s final Week 6 injury report.
Keisean, Nixon
Oct 16, 2026 17:00

He got in a pair of limited sessions on Thursday and Friday to get off the report. Nixon will be tasked with the unenviable duties of taking on George Pickens and CeeDee Lamb in front of a national audience on Sunday night.

Joey Porter Jr. (ankle) is questionable for Dallas’ Week 6 game against the Packers.
Joey, Porter
Oct 16, 2026 17:00

Porter downgraded from full to limited on Friday and wound up with this status despite practicing all three days this week. Peculiar. Matthew Golden and Christian Watson would be better off on Sunday if Porter wasn’t able to go.

Andrew Thomas (groin) is questionable for New York’s Week 6 game against the Saints.
Andrew, Thomas
Oct 16, 2026 17:00

This is a marked downgrade for Thomas, as he had been skipping plenty of practice days but at least had been cleared off the injury report on Fridays the last few weeks. John Harbaugh said Thomas was “basically full go” today, which seems sketchy in light of this listing. If we take the coach at his word, it seems likely that Thomas will play through this. Ditto Jermaine Eluemunor, who also is questionable after missing the first two days of practice.

Theo Johnson (neck) will not play in New York’s Week 6 game against the Saints.
TE Theo, Johnson NYG
Oct 16, 2026 17:00

It’s Thomas Fidone hours in New York, marone.

Dontayvion Wicks (hamstring) was removed from the injury report and will play in Week 6 against the Panthers.
WR Dontayvion, Wicks PHI
Oct 16, 2026 17:00

Apparently, Wicks’ day off on Thursday was only a rest day. The Eagles’ veteran wide receiver was limited on Wednesday and practiced fully today. Wicks played through the injury last week, posting a 5/63 receiving line with DeVonta Smith sidelined. Smith is back this week. Wicks is a boom-bust FLEX starter, catching passes thrown by backup Tanner McKee.

Darnell Mooney (neck) is not on New York’s final Week 6 injury report.
WR Darnell, Mooney NYG
Oct 16, 2026 17:00

Mooney turned seven targets into 14 yards last week and does not need to be trusted to do better this week.

Drew Kendall (knee) is questionable to play in Week 6 against the Panthers.
Drew, Kendall
Oct 16, 2026 17:00

Kendall, the Eagles’ starting center, and LG Landon Dickerson (knee) were both limited on Friday, resulting in questionable game tags. Dickerson remains on injured reserve. The team would need to activate him, if he is going to play. Eagles EDGE Jonathan Greenard (ankle) was cleared to play.

Eli Stowers (quad) is questionable to play in Week 6 against the Panthers.
TE Eli, Stowers PHI
Oct 16, 2026 17:00

Stowers is only notable because of his draft capital. The second-round rookie has not carved out a role for himself and would not be fantasy-relevant if the Eagles activate him from injured reserve.

Tyjae Spears (knee) is questionable for Tennessee’s Week 6 game against the Colts.
RB Tyjae, Spears TEN
Oct 16, 2026 17:00

Spears didn’t practice Thursday but was a full-go on Friday. He’ll be a sketchy FLEX option against the Colts in Week 6 assuming he plays; it sure does seem like he will after a full session.

Tyler Warren (groin) is questionable for Indianapolis’ Week 6 game against the Titans.
TE Tyler, Warren IND
Oct 16, 2026 17:00

Warren popped up on the injury report on Friday after suffering the injury in practice. Fantasy managers who were relying on Warren likely won’t find a good enough option to replace him with proactively on waivers at this point, so it makes some sense to sit and wait for more reporting to come out or for him to be ruled out. This was, frankly, the last thing the Colts needed given how banged up their receiving corps has been.

Josh Downs (hamstring/rest) is not on Indianapolis’ final Week 6 injury report.
WR Josh, Downs IND
Oct 16, 2026 17:00

Given how Downs’ season is going, it’s hard to believe he’s going to do much with the extra runway, but Tyler Warren (groin) popping up on the report could shift more targets to Downs and Keenan Allen on Sunday against the Titans.

Budda Baker (groin) is questionable for Arizona’s Week 6 game against the Rams.
Budda, Baker
Oct 16, 2026 17:00

It was a pop-up DNP for Baker on Friday after he had initially been listed as NIR-Rest on Wednesday. Ominous. Baker stands a real chance at missing Sunday’s game and throwing the Cardinals defense into (checking notes) chaos against the Rams.

Lions placed Ben Bartch on injured reserve with a foot injury.
Ben, Bartch
Oct 16, 2026 17:00

The Lions lose one of their top backup offensive lineman and LB Devin White (forearm) to injured reserve. Lions coach Dan Campbell told reporters post-game last week that White would likely require surgery.

Davis Allen (foot) is not on Los Angeles’ final Week 6 injury report.
TE Davis, Allen LAR
Oct 16, 2026 17:00

He got in a limited session and the Rams apparently trust him to play despite a pair of missed practices on Wednesday and Thursday. Colby Parkinson (shoulder) also avoided the final report. Tyler Higbee is the Rams tight end you should be using at this point.

Seahawks coach Mike Macdonald said Sam Darnold’s starting quarterback job is not in jeopardy.
QB Sam, Darnold SEA
Oct 16, 2026 17:00

The Seahawks’ head coach stood by his quarterback today, saying Darnold is “definitely part of the solution” to the offense’s recent struggles. Darnold returned somewhat quickly from a glute tendon strain a couple of weeks ago. One wonders if he is still rounding back into form following the early-season ailment. Backup Drew Lock played well in his stead, but the Seahawks believe their Super Bowl-winning quarterback should keep his job. That makes sense to us. He’s a QB2 next week against the Chiefs.

Elijah Arroyo (shoulder) underwent further testing on Friday.
TE Elijah, Arroyo SEA
Oct 16, 2026 17:00

No update yet on what was learned, and we may have to wait until next week’s first injury report to learn more. The Seahawks’ young tight end has faced multiple injuries in his short career. Hopefully, this one is not serious.

Ladd McConkey (foot) is not on Los Angeles’ final Week 6 injury report.
WR Ladd, McConkey LAC
Oct 16, 2026 16:00

Chargers coach Jim Harbaugh said he did not know if McConkey or Quentin Johnston would be on snap counts on Sunday. Cool. What we do know is that the Chargers desperately need a win and McConkey is their best receiver, so the incentives are certainly aligned to get McConkey into the fantasy WR3 discussion even with a pitch count.

Rico Dowdle (toe) is questionable to play in Week 6 against the Buccaneers.
RB Rico, Dowdle PIT
Oct 16, 2026 16:00

Dowdle seemingly has a good chance to play. He was limited on Wednesday, but practiced in full on Thursday and Friday. However, Jaylen Warren has played extremely well with Dowdle sidelined and coach Mike McCarthy has said that Warren will remain a high-volume player. If active, Dowdle is a FLEX starter.

Quentin Johnston (chest) is not on Los Angeles’ final Week 6 injury report.
WR Quentin, Johnston LAC
Oct 16, 2026 16:00

Stark difference from last week’s limited-limited-rule out. Jim Harbaugh would not commit to putting it on the record that Johnston would be on a snap count. Playing through the injury with Los Angeles’ sad sack offensive line would seem to have Johnston as more of a sketchy FLEX play than a WR3.

Tre’ Harris (hamstring) will not play in Los Angeles’ Week 6 game against the Chiefs.
Tre', Harris
Oct 16, 2026 16:00

He did not practice this week and Jim Harbaugh called him “week to week.” Harris stands a chance at returning after Los Angeles’ Week 7 bye.
